Our Student Council is launching a Battery Recycling in School initiative.
Recycling batteries helps protect our environment and supports global goals (Goals 12 & 13), but that’s not all. Proceeds raised will go to support LauraLynn Children’s Hospice and the Bag2School clothing collection fundraiser run by our Home School Community Liaison.
Please send in your used batteries. Each classroom will have a designated battery collection box, with additional boxes in the staffroom and at reception.
Our goal is to fill ten full boxes (5kg each) to book a collection – together, we can make a difference.
Form Tutors, Year Heads, and the Student Council will be encouraging participation, but we need the whole community involved.
